October 23, 2016 — As we approach the first anniversary of the shovels hitting the dirt at Capital Pointe on October 28, 2015, progress has been steady, with plenty going on.
Out front we’re installing lifestyle billboards highlighting the smart luxury that Capital Pointe’s residents will enjoy.

it was dump trucks on parade as the south-west section is down to about 16 feet and excavation appears to be starting along the north-east.

October 29, 2015 — After sitting vacant for years there has been a big step forward with the Capital Pointe project at the intersection of Albert St. & Victoria Ave.
On Thursday morning the company in charge of the project Fortress Real Developments held an official ground breaking ceremony for the project.
Drilling rigs were seen on the site late Wednesday afternoon. <read entire story>

That was the message from the groundbreaking ceremony at the Capital Pointe project site at Victoria Avenue and Albert Street on Thursday morning. The on-again, off-again, $100-million, 27-storey condominium-hotel complex was on again, but this time for good. <Read entire story>
